Do you treat infertility in women?I ave getting periods without ababy what could be the prblem?

Infertility in the presence of apparently normal menstrual cycles is usually traceable to three factors.
1. Hormonal- commonly due to ovarian disorder as is characterized by the Polycyctic Ovarian Disease.

2. structural- usually due to uterine fibroids, fallopian tube pathology e.g pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)

3. underlying medical conditions- e.g diabetes and some connective tissue diseases.

To establish what could be your cause, your gynecologist will need to examine you and do some investigations including an abdomino-pelvic ultrasound, hormonnal studies amongst others.

It is advisable that you visit one (Based on your location, you can select the nearest one from our directory or search in our search menu on our home page

shingles and the cause

Shingles is a condition that affects the skin and is characterized by a very painful rash consisting of vesicles and clustered together. its causative agent is a virus Varicella Zoster that causes the common childhood condition of chicken pox.
Following this initial infection the virus remains in your body usually in some parts of your nerves.
It is reactivated by a weakening of the individual\'s immune system. this may be due to infections eg HIV/AIDS, medical conditions like diabetes or cancer that affects the bone marrow or blood system.

Some drugs especially chemotherapy and radiotherapy may also trigger shingles.
